Overview

Pedestrian staff crossing checks whether there is an approaching train and supports the staff to safely cross the track only if there is no train approaching, when pedestrian staffs cross the track at a designated location.
  • Installation

    Installed at locations where pedestrian staffs frequently cross. Sections are divided into in-station parts and outer parts.

  • Operation method

    When the crossing request button
    installed on the traffic light pole is
    pressed at each track crossing point
    and the crossing light (green) is displayed,
    one person quickly crosses the track.
    When the crossing request button
    is pressed, if the stop light (red)
    is displayed or the indicator light is
    not flashing, crossing is prohibited.

  • Crossing time

    20 seconds (based on single/double line)
